Moore County Jail Museum
Jail Museum
Listed on the National Register of Historical Places, the Moore County Old Jail was in operation for almost 100 years. Constructed of heavy oak timber, the jail contained two 8×8 jails.
A new Moore County Jail was completed in 1990, and upon its opening, the old Jail transitioned into a Museum which showcases historical clothing, artifacts, and actual jail cells the inmates occupied.
Today it also is home to many spirits, apparitions and unexplained phenomena.
Tennessee Paranormal is honored to partner with the Moore County Historical Society to offer public and private investigations.
